Dodge has decided to focus on the many electric plants that they have purchased. Dodge is owned by the parent company Stellantis, and Stellantis has been purchasing a wide variety of electric vehicle manufacturing plants and battery plants. They are dedicated to producing more electric vehicles. Other than the Dodge Durango and the Hornet, we are unsure exactly what other offerings the performance vehicle maker will make. Many believe that within the next couple years Dodge will offer the coupe again but with an electric powertrain.
The Dodge Challenger can now be ordered and is set to arrive in early spring. The Dodge Challenger will have a few special models up for order and many different trims. Although not many have been ordered and delivered, you can call us to request the last iteration of the Dodger Challenger.
The Dodge Challenger has long been one of the most popular muscle cars on the road, look no further than its appearance in famous film franchises such as the Fast and Furious and in many TV shows. That leaves the choice of two V8 engines, the smaller end is a 375 horsepower engine that outputs 5.7 liters. The second engine, a 6.4 liter that outputs 485 horsepower. These engines are sure to make all of the thrill seekers incredibly pleased. The automatic transmission allows for seamless shifting that is focused on maximizing RPMs to allow for higher engine output. The Challenger is the definition of a muscle car, solid and tough. It might not be as athletic as other vehicles, but it sure does pack a punch and delivers that engine growl.
Unfortunately after this year, we will no longer see a new Dodge Challenger on the road. We are sad to see one of America’s best V8s leave the road, but excited for what Dodge has in store. Now is the time to get your Challenger before they are gone. The Dodge Challenger will forever be one of the great American muscle cars, and it has cemented its presence in the heart and soul of the open road.
